Small businesses deserve implementation, not another deck
Most small businesses have already been sold plenty of advice — audits, roadmaps, recommendations — and still have to figure out how to actually put any of it in place. Biz Evolve exists to close that gap: the discipline of large-scale operations work, applied to businesses small enough that the owner still answers the phone.
How engagements run
Three stages, in order, with nothing hidden until later. Here's what each one actually looks like.
-
Talk
A free 40-minute call. You explain your business and where the friction actually is — the calls that go unanswered, the spreadsheet nobody fully trusts, the leads that go quiet after the first message. We ask specific questions about how work moves through your business today, not generic ones about your 'goals.'
What you getA plain-language read on where to start — whether or not you end up working with us.
-
Plan
Within a few days of the call, you get a short written scope: what we're setting up, in what order, and what "done" looks like for each piece. Usually a page or two, in the same plain language as the call — not a strategy deck. You approve it before anything gets touched.
What you getA written scope you actually understand, with no surprises or scope creep once work starts.
-
Build
We start with the single highest-impact piece, not everything at once. A typical first week: your CRM or main tool chosen and access set up, your existing customer data migrated over, and the first automation — usually missed-call text-back or similar — built and tested. You see something real running within days, not months.
What you getA working system, documented in plain language, with your team trained on it — not a login nobody opens.
The three commitments
-
We implement, not recommend
Plenty of consultants will hand you a recommendation and call the job done. We don't. Every engagement ends with something actually built and running — a CRM your team logs into, an automation already firing, a process already documented — not a set of slides telling you what you should probably do next. If we recommend a change, we're the ones who build it.
-
Plain language, always
We don't reach for jargon to sound more expert, and we don't let a tool's own marketing language creep into how we explain it to you. If we can't tell you, in one plain sentence, what we're building and why it matters to your business, we haven't understood the problem well enough yet — and we go back and figure it out before we touch anything.
-
Built to outlast us
An engagement has a start date and an end date. The systems we build don't. Everything is documented in plain language, your team is trained on it before we consider the job finished, and none of it depends on us being on retainer to keep functioning. If a system falls over the moment we leave, we didn't do the job right.
